Prof. Kang L. Wang, a PI of SHINES EFRC research center, won 2018 IUPAP Magnetism Award and Néel Medal. He received his BS degree from National Cheng Kung University and his MS and PhD degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a Guggenheim Fellow, Fellows of American Physical Society and IEEE. He is a Member of Academia Sinica. He was presented the IEEE JJ Ebers award for electron devices, SRC Technical Excellence Award, and the Pan Wen Yuan Award. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of IEEE TNANO, editor of Artech House, Consulting Editor for Spins, and Associate Editor for Science Advances.
